Community Cleanup
The Annual Acadia Community Cleanup is on May 11, 2024.
Free drop off of your items is available at the Acadia Recreation Complex.
This success of this event is dependent on volunteers to help us run things smoothly for the community.

Bike Parade
Let’s Ride!
In partnership with Bike Calgary, join us in the west parking of Lord Beaverbrook High School on 90th Ave SE on Saturday June 1st for our second annual Bike Parade to celebrate Bike Month in Calgary!
We will have bike tune-up demos to showcase our first community bike repair station, an area where all ages can decorate their bikes, fun crafts, activities and ice-cream.
Collect stamps on your passport as you visit some key sites within Acadia.
More advanced riders can continue on the heritage sites bike route we have mapped through the community of Acadia.

Parade of Garage Sales
It's BACK!
We are excited to announce our 2024 Acadia Parade of Garage Sales sponsored by Justyna Jakimowicz of Royal LePage Realty
This year we will be hosting our Parade of Garage Sales on Saturday June 22nd and Sunday June 23rd from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You can choose between Saturday (the 22nd), Sunday (the 23rd), or both days (the 22nd and 23rd).
If you live in Acadia, have an ACA membership, and would like to participate in the garage sale, please complete the registration at www.acadiagaragesale.com
Home-based businesses are welcome to participate!
Cost: Registration fee is $0 but limited to ACA members only.

Stampede Breakfast
Join us for a boot scootin’ time!
The ACA is thrilled to bring back a Stampede event to the community of Acadia!
Come out for a pancake breakfast, fun live performances, a line dancing lesson, petting zoo, western themed carnival games and glitter tattoos. You really don’t want to miss this event!

Exploring emotions workshop
The YWCA is offering a series of free workshops on Healthy Relationships!
As we navigate through the complexities of modern-day life, maintaining healthy relationships has become increasingly challenging. This workshop is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and techniques to build and maintain healthy relationships, both personally and professionally.
In ‘Exploring Emotions’, participants will learn about how emotions impact our thoughts and behaviours, including learning about the Window of Tolerance.
The session will be led by experienced facilitators who specialize in relationship building and have a proven track record of helping people develop healthy relationships.
